Bad temper

Bad temper

There once was a little boy who had a bad  temper.  His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.

He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the ! day came when the boy didn't loose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he  was able to hold his temper.

…………………..The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails are gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence He said, 'You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same.

When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one.  You can put a  knife in a man and draw it out.

It won't matter how many times you say 'I'm sorry', the wound is still there.  A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
'No one has swallowed back anything more excellent in the sight of Allah, Who is Great and Glorious, than anger he restrains, seeking to please Allah, The Most High.'

Power of Quran-e-Pak

A Beautiful Hadith
------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- -
Rasulullah (Sallallahualaihewa sallam)said: 'When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud and the chest of the deceased.
When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and Nakeer(names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith. But the handsome man says, 'He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not  leave him alone in any case. If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted into Paradise '.

Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, 'I am the Qur'an, which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Naker, you will have no grief.'

When the interrogation is over, the handsome man arranges for him from Al-Mala'ul A'laa (the angels in Heaven) silk bedding filled with musk.

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: 'On the Day of Judgement, before Allah, no other Intercessor will have a greater status than the Qur'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel.'

Please keep forwarding this 'Hadith' to all ....because

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said:

'Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse'.
May Allah bestow this favour on all of us. AMEEN

Who Loves Us More!!?

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco.
"Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd like to bring home with me."

"Sure," they replied, "we'd love to meet him."

"There's something you should know the son continued, "he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us."

"I'm sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live."

"No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us."

"Son," said the father, "you don't know what you're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live on his own."

At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was suicide. The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn't know, their son had only one arm and one leg.

The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don't like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren't as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are. Thankfully, there's someone who won't treat us that way. Someone who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the forever family, regardless of how messed up we are..
That is ALLAH ( SWT)!!!
Be thankful to him and Always Ask HIM for everything.

EXperiences During "Hajj"

            EXPERIENCES DURING "HAJJ"

The following shows the different parts of Mecca/Medinah and of people performing their pilgrimage. I find that these pictures are extremely well taken and inspiring because they show the human aspect of the pilgrimage rather than the holy city itself. [Photographs Courtesy of "MECCA AND MEDINA TODAY" By Hamza Kaidi in collaboration with Nadjm Oud-Dine Bammate and El Hachemi Tidjani Copyright - Les Editions j.a. - 1980]

Precious craftsmanship: gold and silver thread embroidery of the verses of the Qur'an on the Ka'bah covering.

The most solemn moment for a pilgrim: touching the Black Stone. Not all pilgrims can get this close and they are only required to hail it from a distance.

Invocation of the pilgrims on the hill of As-Safa, point of departure for the procession.

The Maqam Ibrahim (place where Abraham was in the habit of standing). It is opposite the Multazam the only door of the Ka'bah.

Pilgrims touching one of the walls of the Ka'bah.

Pilgrims at the Mosque of the Prophet at Medinah..

A Qur'an recital

Pilgrims quenching their thirst at the Zamzam well
